WorkQuest’s Director of Sales, Roxy VanLoo, and Pflugerville Special Olympic Athlete, Daulton Swenson, proudly represented Team Texas at the Special Olympics North America (SONA) Golf Championships this past August.
The three-day tournament, held in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, brought together 30 teams from across the United States and Canada.
VanLoo and Swenson delivered an outstanding performance, achieving the lowest overall score of all teams and earning the Gold Medal. The pair has been competing in Unified Golf through Special Olympics for more than a decade.
This year marked their third appearance at the international level of SONA, and their first-ever Gold Medal victory, following previous finishes of second and fourth place.
